My name is Yvonne Pitts and I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University where I received my BS in Child and Family Development. I attended the University of West Alabama where I received my MS in Counseling/Psychology. I am licensed with the state of Georgia as an LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor. I plan to pursue my Doctoral degree from Liberty University in Psychology. I have worked in the mental health field for 13 years, and with that, a great wealth of knowledge has come working with individuals that suffer from mental illnesses. My goal and purpose through Brighten Morning Star, LLC is to spread awareness through education that will increase knowledge and understanding in mental health. I am a firm believer that once you know, you can do something different with what you know. It is my hope that through this awareness, people will be better equipped on how to overcome and win over any life circumstance.
